Blackberry has already said that they do not have three Android-powered smartphones this year. They already made an announcement in this summer DTEK50. Now there is another smartphone which is visible everywhere, though it is still not official. And that would be DTEK60. Specs have already been made before the DTEK60, which includes a 5.5 inches 2560 × 1440 resolution display, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor. Also includes 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 3000mAh battery. There is a 21-megapixel camera with 8-megapixel front-facing sensor. DTEK60 also comes with USB Type-C and a fingerprint sensor. This shows that this is definitely a high-end smartphone.
Coming from the avalix, the picture you see below seems to be some branding of the new device. It just shows the device next to it in a very small thumbnail with the name "DTEK60". The thumbnail is really small, and it distorts the image very much, making it difficult to see what's happening here. But it looks like the DTEK50, which looked like Alcatel's Idol 4. Not surprisingly, because it has a common name, and this means that it is being made by TCL, the parent company of Alcatel. The big difference here seems to be curved edges, which almost makes it a hybrid of PRIV and DTEK50. Although there are no words at the moment that there is no physical keyboard around
Currently, there is no word on pricing for DTEK60, but it will probably be closer to the pricing of BlackBerry PRIV, and not for DTEK50 pricing. Of course, this information will probably not be available until the BlackBerry DTEK60 is made official, which can happen very soon or within the next few months. It must be official before the end of the year. It's a bit interesting that DTEK60 continues to show its face, even the Blackberry rumors to shut its hardware arm tomorrow. Although DTEK60 and Blackberry's hardware arm have been discontinued, it has not yet been made official, it is likely that the DTEK60 was not built in-house.
