Pattern and Selection Process of SSC JE Exam 2019
As mentioned above, SSC JE exam consists of two phases – Paper-I and Paper-II.
Paper – I, which is the first step of the selection process, is an Objective Type Computer Based Test
Paper II, which is the second step, is a descriptive type written examination

Important point to remember SSC JE Exam Pattern For Paper – I
General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness section will be general for all three streams.
In the general engineering section, candidates will have to try classes according to their branches (i.e., either civil or mechanical or electrical).
Candidates have to complete Paper-I in 2 hours (120 minutes). For every wrong attempt 0.25% points will be deducted.
For every correct attempt, 1 point will be given.
If the candidate does not attempt the general engineering section according to the instructions given in Paper I, his answer sheet will not be evaluated by the Board.
